The Minnesota Vikings had two picks in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. What should the team expect from both of them in year one and beyond?

The Minnesota Vikings had a whopping 11 picks on Day 3 of the 2020 NFL Draft. Two of these picks came in the sixth round of the draft.

The Vikings had spent the better part of the draft’s last day by adding pieces to their defense. They took a total of four defensive players and one offensive player in the fourth and fifth rounds.

During the sixth round, Minnesota had two selections and with the first one, they went back to offense and grabbed a big offensive tackle in Oregon State’s Blake Brandel. With their second sixth-round choice, they finally addressed the safety position and took Michigan’s Josh Metellus.

Neither one of these players is likely to have a huge impact for the Vikings early in their careers. However, there is plenty of talent in both of these prospects so let’s dive into what Minnesota can expect in the future from these two.
