Cole Kmet – TE (Chicago Bears)

The Bears didn’t pick until Round 2 of the 2020 Draft and surprisingly made a luxury pick. They already were loaded with tight ends on their roster but took another in Notre Dame’s Cole Kmet.

Kmet was seen as the best tight end in this year’s class and it’s easy to see why. This guy has a big frame and moves extremely well. He kind of looks like Rob Gronkowski on tape, and appears to be a mismatch for any linebacker or safety attempting to cover him.

The Minnesota Vikings have struggled to cover tight ends in recent seasons and should not be excited to see this young playmaker added to the division. Having a big target on the field will also help Mitch Trubisky develop, as it will give him a big safety valve to dump off to if he’s under pressure and running for his life.

Cole Kmet has the potential to be a star tight end in the NFL. With his size, speed, and ability to pick up yardage after the catch, he could become a thorn in the Minnesota Vikings side for years to come.
