Week 14

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Away)

  • Date: Sunday, December 13
  • Time: 12 p.m. CT
  • TV: FOX

On a mission to prove to everyone that he’s still one of the best quarterbacks in the league, Tom Brady is likely going to have an MVP-caliber season in 2020. Brady has never lost to Minnesota during his entire career (five meetings) and he’s not going to in this matchup either.

Prediction: Vikings lose (8-5)

Week 15

Chicago Bears (Home)

  • Date: Sunday, December 20
  • Time: 12 p.m. CT
  • TV: FOX

As much as they struggle on the road against the Bears, the Vikings usually take care of business at home against their NFC North rival. It could be a close contest, but Minnesota will end up avenging their Week 10 loss to Chicago.

Prediction: Vikings win (9-5)

Week 16

New Orleans Saints (Away)

  • Date: Friday, December 25
  • Time: 3:30 p.m. CT
  • TV: FOX

For whatever reason, Mike Zimmer has seemed to figure out what it takes to defeat Sean Payton and the Saints. Zimmer has led his team to victories in three of their last four meetings with New Orleans and the Vikings will continue this success in 2020 without the help of any Christmas miracles.

Prediction: Vikings win (10-5)

Week 17

Detroit Lions (Away)

  • Date: Sunday, January 3
  • Time: 12 p.m. CT
  • TV: FOX

The NFC North title could still be on the line heading into this game, so Minnesota will be looking to get a win. But by the end of the first half, the Vikings will already have the victory in the bag and they’ll get a chance to rest some of their starters before continuing their journey into the playoffs.
