3. Green Bay Packers – Week 1 and Week 8
Many Minnesota Vikings fans were vocal about their amusement in the Packers 2020 NFL Draft class. While their picks didn’t seem to make a lot of sense, they could pay off for the franchise in the long term.
However, maybe the Packers don’t need to change things up too much. Last year, they swept the Vikings, beating the purple and gold for the first time ever at U.S. Bank Stadium. That needs to change if Minnesota wants to not only win the division but return to the playoffs.
Fans should expect a strong run game supplemented by Aaron Rodgers, much like the formula that helped Green Bay find success last season. Minnesota will need to get out of the Packers’ shadow if they want to be taken seriously as a contender.
There is always something extra special about games between the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers. This year, it is the purple and gold who need to prove they deserve to be mentioned among the cream of the crop in the NFC.
