2. Seattle Seahawks – Week 5 (SNF)

Why does it always seem as though the Minnesota Vikings have to travel west to play the Seattle Seahawks each year? Considering how good they are, it seems kind of unfair to have to face them on such a regular basis.

The Seahawks have beaten the Vikings in their last six meetings and they dominate the all-time series twelve to five. In fact, the last time Minnesota was able to defeat Seattle was in 2009 when Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre was the quarterback.

While winning division games is essential for a team hoping to make the playoffs, winning conference games can be important as well. This is especially true with other great teams like the 49ers, Saints, and Packers all looking to make the playoffs and tiebreakers possibly looming.

For a team that Minnesota hasn’t beaten in a decade, it would be a huge boost for the Vikings to go into Seattle and get a win. Of course, that will be no easy task. However, it is one that fans should be looking forward to seeing.
