With the schedule now released for the upcoming 2020 regular season, which games appear to be the matchups that will give the Minnesota Vikings the most trouble?

For the Minnesota Vikings, the upcoming season is an important one for a number of reasons. In addition to their efforts to get back to the playoffs for the second-straight year, time is beginning to run out for Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer and general manager Rick Spielman to lead the franchise to a championship.

Winning a title isn’t going to be an easy task in 2020, but it’s still something that Minnesota is capable of accomplishing. However, they will have to do it without the help of some of their longtime contributors.

After figuring out how to keep the core of their defense together for the last few seasons, the Vikings saw a number of defensive starters depart from their roster this year. Minnesota did their best to reload the talent and depth for their defense this offseason, but Zimmer certainly has his work cut out for him in 2020.

Last Thursday, the Vikings found out they will begin their next attempt to win a championship when they take on the rival Green Bay Packers at home inside U.S. Bank Stadium in Week 1. This seems like it will be a tough matchup for Minnesota, but it’s not the most difficult game on the team’s schedule for the upcoming season.

So now that they know where they will be traveling each week, which three matchups will be the toughest for the Vikings to come out with a win in 2020?
