The Minnesota Vikings are poised to make another run at the playoffs in 2020. To do that, here are some things they need to change this season.

The Minnesota Vikings look ready to be competitors in the NFC again this season.

They’ve added some exciting young players in the 2020 NFL Draft and were able to plug some holes in free agency, too. They did lose a handful of longtime starters, notably EDGE Everson Griffen and wide receiver Stefon Diggs. But at most of those positions, they have young players who are ready to fill the void.

If the Vikings are going to win the NFC North this season and make a deeper run in the playoffs than they did last year, some things will have to change. The Vikings have some streaks they’d like to end this season, and also need to improve how they play in certain situations. They also regressed in some areas on defense in 2019 and will have to shore those issues up to be in the thick of things when January rolls around.
