1. The Vikings trading Stefon Diggs for three draft picks

Trading a star player away is always tough. Stefon Diggs will always have a place in the hearts of Minnesota Vikings fans thanks to some great plays including the unforgettable Minneapolis Miracle which won the team a game against the New Orleans Saints.

Sadly, something happened between Diggs and the organization and the relationship became irreconcilable. General manager Rick Spielman didn’t panic and instead got quite the ransom for the disgruntled pass catcher from the Buffalo Bills.

After seeing the embarrassing haul the Texans got for DeAndre Hopkins from the Cardinals, the thought was that Diggs would fetch a similarly embarrassing value. However, that wasn’t the case at all.

The Vikings got a first-round pick (used on WR Justin Jefferson), a fifth-round pick, and more in exchange for Diggs. Of course, the long-term impact of this transaction will rest on how things shake out for Jefferson as a pro. However, the Minnesota Vikings definitely did their best to get some great compensation for their disgruntled asset.
