Minnesota Vikings: 5 players who need to step up in 2020
By Adam Carlson
2. Garrett Bradbury, center
There is no need to space out the offensive linemen on this list. Last year, the interior of the offensive line struggled in a massive way and much of it had to do with Garrett Bradbury and Pat Elflein, especially when it came to pass blocking.
While Elflein is fighting for his starting role, the Minnesota Vikings are likely to be more patient with Bradbury. Entering his second season in the NFL, there is still a lot of hope he can find his footing as he gains experience at the pro level.
Another reason the Vikings have to be patient with Bradbury is because of their investment. The team used a first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft on him and will likely give him every opportunity to succeed before taking any action to make a change at the position.
If Minnesota can figure out their situation with the guards and Bradbury takes the next step, the sky could be the limit for the Minnesota Vikings offense. In particular, the passing attack would benefit greatly from these improvements with Cousins getting less pressure coming directly at him.
