WR Tajae Sharpe

Tajae Sharpe was one of the few known players the Vikings signed in the offseason. While he hasn’t exactly lit the world on fire in his time in the league, the guy has been around for three years and has that veteran experience the Vikings are looking for.

While being a big free agent signing and one of the few experienced players on the Vikings roster, there is no guarantee that Sharpe makes the team. If Justin Jefferson is quick to pick up the NFL game and Kubiak’s system, he could become the no. 2 target on the Vikings. Bisi Johnson is pretty much a lock for the slot and that would make Sharpe the no. 4 option when it comes receivers.

Instead of going with the veteran in that situation, the Vikings could decide to go with a rookie or second-year player. They have exciting rookies like K.J. Osborn and Quartney Davis. They also have those second-year players like Alexander Hollins and Davion Davis who worked their way into playing time in 2019.

If Sharpe struggles to catch on and begins to fall down the Minnesota Vikings depth chart, his time with the team could end before it officially starts.
