What have been the biggest distractions during Mike Zimmer’s tenure with the Minnesota Vikings?

The Minnesota Vikings got word last week that running back Dalvin Cook is planning on holding out unless he is offered a fair deal by the team. Perhaps the Vikings will go ahead and offer Cook a contract he is happy with prior to the start of training camp and avoid the possibility of a holdout.

If they can’t agree on terms of a new deal and Cook actually does hold out, it will become a major distraction at Minnesota’s training camp this year. Every day, coaches and players will be asked about the running back and it won’t take long for them to get sick of answering the same questions every time there is a press conference or an interview.

While having a major distraction hanging over the team is never a good thing, it is something that Mike Zimmer should really be used to by now.

Since joining the Vikings in 2014, Zimmer has had to deal with many distractions on and off the field. Let’s check out a list of some of the biggest distractions Minnesota has had to deal with during his tenure as the team’s head coach.
