Kyle Rudolph has played more games for the Minnesota Vikings than Adrian Peterson.

When the Minnesota Vikings kicked off a Monday Night Football game against the Seattle Seahawks on December 2, 2019, Kyle Rudolph notched the accomplishment of playing more games with the Vikings than franchise cornerstone, Adrian Peterson.

This can probably be construed as an example of how time creeps up you, the fan, but the reality of this achievement is still significant. It should be noted that Peterson missed games due to injury and nefarious circumstances, but the sports cliche will tell you availability is paramount.

Why stop with Adrian Peterson? Rudolph has played more games as a Viking than Ed McDaniel, Antoine Winfield, Gary Zimmerman, Jeff Christy, Ahmad Rashad, Jared Allen, Chuck Foreman, and Todd Steussie.

And, one more. But it is less surprising because his exodus occurred after seven years. Randy Moss played in 113 games with the Vikings (1998-2004, 2010). Rudolph has played in 128.
