No. 4 – 2019, Week 11 versus Denver Broncos

An endzone pass from Broncos quarterback Brandon Allen to tight end Noah Fant falls incomplete on the final play of the game as the Vikings defeat Denver, 27-23.

Ordinarily, a 27-23 home victory for the Vikings against a 3-6 team would not be paramount of memorability. But this was.

Minnesota trailed Denver 20-0 at halftime. The Vikings performance through two quarters was a wholesale display of futility. In years prior, the team has shown similar performances at home to the Buffalo Bills and Indianapolis Colts. This game felt no different with 30 minutes off the game clock.

After halftime, however, Kirk Cousins sparked a rally that was consummated with a 32-yard touchdown to a wide-open Kyle Rudolph.

The comeback marked the first time an NFL team overcame a 20+ point halftime deficit to win since 2014 when the San Diego Chargers stunned the San Francisco 49ers, 38-35.
