3 free agents who could start for the Minnesota Vikings in 2020

Logan Ryan – CB
As the Vikings get ready to begin training camp at the end of the month, no one is really sure how their cornerback depth chart is going to end up when they begin the regular season in September.
Minnesota still has to figure out which two guys will be lining up on the outside, who is going to take over as their slot corner, and which guys they will keep around for depth.
If the Vikings are looking for a talented veteran corner who can line up in the slot, Logan Ryan could be their guy. Ryan has drawn some interest from around the NFL this offseason, but he still hasn’t agreed to sign anywhere yet.
A seven-year veteran, Ryan has spent his time in the league as a member of the New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans. With the Titans in 2019, he set new single-season career highs for tackles (113), pass breakups (18), sacks (4.5), and forced fumbles (four). He found the time to snag four interceptions during his 16 appearances with Tennessee last year as well.
At 5-foot-11, 195 pounds, Ryan is a versatile corner who can line up on the outside or in the slot. So Minnesota head coach Mike Zimmer could even end up using him as one of his two starting outside cornerbacks in 2020 if he feels like that is where he fits best.
