Kyle Rudolph – TE

Vis-à-vis receiving touchdowns, Kyle Rudolph has been the most clutch tight end in NFL since joining the Vikings in 2011.

In the last nine seasons, Kyle Rudolph has scored 12 receiving touchdowns in the fourth quarter of games when the score margin is within 10 points. This ranks as the very best in the NFL among tight ends in the time frame and it is the fourth-best among all players that catch passes.

Rudolph’s 12 scores are only outdone by Dez Bryant (14), Antonio Brown (13), and A.J. Green (13). What is extraordinary about this statistic is that he has more clutch touchdowns than the heavily-targeted Julio Jones, Larry Fitzgerald, and Rob Gronkowski, among others.

Now, Rudolph does not bank an outlandish volume of yards and receptions as the aforementioned players,]. But he is not targeted anywhere near as much as said players.

Rudolph has a unique knack for scoring in clutch situations and it’s flushed out indubitably in the numbers.
