The Minnesota Vikings have played 59 seasons as of the conclusion to 2019. In 30 of these seasons, the Vikings made the playoffs. This round number creates a rather convenient metric by which to rank all of Minnesota’s campaigns in order of good to great.
The main criteria for ordering the top 30 is mainly based on playoff success followed by the overall win percentage for that season. Offensive rankings, defensive rankings, and memories or milestones are used to settle tiebreakers.
The sheer number of times that the Vikings have made the postseason makes this list rather exhaustive. But that is obviously a good thing.
