Creating a positive relationship with the city of Minneapolis, state of Minnesota, and the lawmakers is essential if a sports team wants to succeed. The Timberwolves may not need help building a new arena or facility, but that doesn’t mean they won’t need those connections in the future.
Whether it is team events, fan experiences, or anything else that happens outside of team facilities, getting approval on anything will be a much smoother process when both sides know what s expected from them.
