4. Building an empire

Owning two sports teams in one state might seem like a lot, but it wouldn’t be something the Wilf family can’t handle. With their hands-on approach to the Vikings, they have made game day and other events an experience for fans and not just a game.

If the Wilf family gets control of the Timberwolves, that same approach could be beneficial. Not to mention that ownership of both teams would allow for some great cross-promotional opportunities.

Wouldn’t it be fun to get tickets to a Minnesota Sports Weekend by getting tickets for the Timberwolves and Vikings and possibly have an exclusive opportunity for a meet and greet with players from both teams? That would be an amazing fan experience.

That is just the tip of the iceberg for some of the possibilities that could happen with the Wilf family having control of both teams. And it would mean a world of opportunities for fans of the team both local and abroad.
