Adam Thielen – WR

2019 NFL Top 100 Ranking: 33

2020 NFL Top Projection: 51

Adam Thielen missed about half of the 2020 season. Because of this, he will likely fall down the player-voted list. But it probably won’t be to an insulting level. Players, of all people, understand the powerlessness of injury.

However, he simply did not make a season-long impact no matter how you analyze it. His former teammate, Stefon Diggs, picked up the receiving slack superbly last year and he will probably be rewarded for it.

It’s reasonable to assume Diggs will climb about 20 spots whereas Thielen will dip about the same amount. Consequently, they should meet in the middle as they have for most of their careers statistically.

At a bird’s eye view, though, Thielen and Diggs will have ample opportunity to be alpha males on their teams starting in September. It will be the first time that has ever happened professionally either one.
