A number of former Minnesota Vikings players have suited up in their new colors recently.
Whenever a former Minnesota Vikings player, especially one who was a fan favorite, ends up with a different team, it always seems a bit odd to see them suit up in a new uniform for the first time.
This year, the Vikings saw the departure of a number of notable names from their roster including Stefon Diggs, Linval Joseph, Xavier Rhodes, Trae Waynes, Everson Griffen, and Mackensie Alexander.
With players around the NFL beginning to arrive to their team facilities during the last few days for this year’s training camp, a bunch of guys who were on Minnesota’s 2019 roster have posted photos of themselves wearing a uniform that is no longer purple and gold.

Without question, the biggest departure from the Vikings’ roster this offseason was Diggs. He is now a member of the Buffalo Bills and the team recently posted some photos on their social media accounts of the talented receiver in his new uniform.
It didn’t take long for Joseph to be picked up by another team and during the upcoming season, he will be playing for the Los Angeles Chargers. On Saturday, the former Minnesota defensive tackle posted a photo on his Instagram account of him in a Chargers jersey for the first time.
On Sunday, the Panthers posted a photo on their social media accounts of the former Minnesota first-round draft pick in their uniform for the first time.
It shouldn’t be long before the Vikings start releasing photos of some of their new players in their uniforms too including guys like Justin Jefferson, Jeff Gladney, and Tajae Sharpe.
