The Bad

Weight issues

P.J. Hall is listed at 6-feet, 305 pounds and it sounds like he arrived to last year’s training camp with the Raiders much heavier than that. During a meeting with reporters last week, Las Vegas head coach Jon Gruden called out Hall and revealed that the defensive tackle came into the team’s 2019 training camp overweight.

This is certainly something for the Vikings to keep an eye on and see if the young defensive tackle can maintain the playing weight they would like him to be at for the upcoming season.

Short tenure with Raiders

Even though he wasn’t a first-round pick, two years still seems pretty fast for a team to cut ties with a player they drafted in the second round like Las Vegas just did with Hall.

Is there more to his departure than him just not being a good fit for the Raiders’ current defense? Minnesota will certainly get to find out why Las Vegas was completely fine with agreeing to a trade that only resulted in them possibly getting a seventh-round draft pick in return.
