4 reasons why the Vikings should sign CB Logan Ryan

Poetically, Ryan joining the Vikings fits
Back in 2013, Logan Ryan was actually traded to the New England Patriots by the Vikings via draft pick. Bet you didn’t know that.
During the 2013 NFL Draft, Minnesota sent a haul of draft picks to Bill Belichick and the Patriots for their 29th overall pick. The Vikings chose former Tennessee wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson, and his career with Minnesota was admirable, especially from a special teams perspective.
In return, New England received (what would turn out to be) one-time Pro Bowl linebacker Jamie Collins and the man of the hour, Mr. Ryan. The Patriots also received two other picks, but those did not pan out for the dynastic franchise.
None of these men are currently with their respective teams who selected them during the 2013 draft, but that is neither here nor there. Heck, the Vikings allowed Patterson to walk away in free agency to the Las Vegas Raiders, only to see him get traded him to New England the following year.
Patterson currently gets the opportunity to face Minnesota twice per year as a member of the Chicago Bears. As for Collins, he recently signed on with the Detroit Lions.
Why not ink Ryan to a deal and host an NFC North reunion party?
