It is going to be tougher than ever for the Minnesota Vikings to make roster cuts this year.

The Minnesota Vikings came up short last season and hope to improve upon their finish in 2020. However, they will have several new faces in new places on the field this year that could make or break those hopes.

Minnesota traded for some players, signed free agents, and made the most of a large draft class to accumulate as much talent as possible this offseason to bring into training camp to fight for a spot on the roster.

This season in particular will tough for the Vikings to make their final cuts. There is a ton of young talent on the roster and the fear of letting the wrong players walk will be on the mind of the general manager and coaches throughout the process.

Let’s take a look at how the 53-man roster for the Minnesota Vikings should sort out as the team approaches their first action of the year on Sept. 13 when they face off against the Green Bay Packers in their home opener.
