Cornerbacks (6)

  • Kris Boyd
  • Cameron Dantzler
  • Jeff Gladney
  • Harrison Hand
  • Holton Hill
  • Mike Hughes

If the names on this list aren’t familiar to casual fans, that’s because the team will have a new starting duo on the field since they have moved on from Xavier Rhodes and Trae Waynes as well as Mackensie Alexander.

Former first-round draft pick Mike Hughes will need to prove he can stay healthy while breakout undrafted free agent Holton Hill will need to avoid suspensions if this duo wants to find success on the football field this season.

Behind them, rookies Cameron Dantzler, Jeff Gladney, and Harrison Hand will be chomping at the bit to prove themselves but may suffer some rookie lumps this season. All of them look as though they have potential to contribute for the team when their numbers are called.

Meanwhile, Kris Boyd is a bit of a wild card. He has looked capable at times and should be considered a contender to play a role on special teams. If he can contribute more than that, it should be considered a bonus.
