5. Garrett Bradbury – C

Garrett Bradbury might have had his fair share of struggles as a rookie. But growing pains are to be expected from any offensive lineman during his first season in the NFL.

Much more is expected in 2020 and the Vikings will be expecting their 2019 first-round pick to make significant strides at a critical position on the field.

This is something that Bradbury is more than capable of. He arrived in Minnesota with a high ceiling after a standout college career at North Carolina State. But his rookie campaign was a steep learning curve that he is sure to have gotten a lot out of.

Bradbury gave up four sacks and he was flagged for eight penalties from 989 snaps last season. This earned him a modest 58.1 grade from Pro Football Focus.

Even though the jury might still be out regarding the young center, there is a possibility his level of production will increase after having a year to find his footing.

This is something that would undoubtedly do the Vikings’ chances of making the postseason again the world of good. The interior protection is an area of real concern heading into 2020. If Bradbury can assist this and improve communication in the process, then Minnesota is going to have a tremendous player on their hands.

Only time will tell as to which way things are going to go with Bradbury. But there is a definite chance the lineman can have a breakout year if he makes the necessary adjustments.
