Justin’s brother, Jordan Jefferson, played in the CFL
This is not necessarily indicative of greatness, but it is just rather interesting.
In a more renowned context, Jordan Jefferson was a quarterback at the same university that his brother Justin attended, LSU. Jordan is eight years older than his younger brother and he played 32 games as a starting quarterback for the Tigers from 2008 to 2011.
Jordan led LSU to a Chick-Fil-A Bowl victory in his freshman year and won he won the game MVP honors for his efforts. In 2011, he helped lead the Tigers to a BCS Championship showdown with dreaded rival Alabama, but LSU fell to the Crimson Tide, 21-0.
The older brother to Justin struggled at the NFL Scouting Combine shortly thereafter and he was not selected in the 2012 NFL Draft. He briefly signed on with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but that was not a match, and would later play in the CFL for four different franchises.
He is currently a wide receivers coach at Navarro College in Texas.
