Dan Bailey – K

It’s always super refreshing when the Vikings can go into a training camp and have the kicking situation not be a disaster.

Dan Bailey had an impressive performance with Minnesota last season and it looks like he’s picked up where he left off. Bailey has reportedly made all seven of his field-goal attempts during team drills at this summer’s training camp.

In 2019, he converted on 27 of his 29 field-goal attempts, including all three of his tries from 50 yards or further. His field goal percentage (93.1) was the highest in a single season by a Vikings kicker with at least 20 attempts since 2000.

As his reward, Minnesota decided to re-sign Bailey this offseason and they agreed to give the kicker a three-year contract worth $10 million. After the first few practices at this summer’s training camp, Bailey is proving that he was certainly worth the money the Vikings paid to bring him back.
