Wide Receivers (6)

The first three spots on the wide receiver depth chart are set and that’s good news for the Vikings. Rookie Justin Jefferson will likely start the season as Minnesota’s No. 3 receiver due to his lack of experience, but don’t be surprised if he quickly takes over as the team’s No. 2 receiver.

After the top three spots on the depth chart, however, things begin to get a little more unpredictable for Minnesota.

It seems like the Vikings still like Chad Beebe and what he can do for the team as both a receiver and a returner. Beebe hasn’t been able to stay healthy since entering the NFL in 2018 though, so that is something that could potentially prevent him from avoiding Minnesota’s final cuts this year.

Alexander Hollins has been one of the most impressive Vikings players during the team’s training camp this summer. Hollins not earning a spot on Minnesota’s active roster this season would be more of a shock than if he were to be let go.

Rookie K.J. Osborn will snag the final spot on the Vikings wide receiver depth chart due to his ability to make an immediate impact as a returner.
