The 53 man roster for the Minnesota Vikings has been set…for now.
One of the craziest times of the NFL season is when teams are forced to trim their rosters to 53 players in anticipation of the upcoming NFL season. Those cuts sometimes include well-established veterans or players who haven’t yet proven themselves, leaving fans wondering what happened to some individuals they have been watching during the preseason or rooted for in previous seasons.
This year will be a bit different when it comes to making cuts. Teams have no preseason contests to evaluate players and COVID-19 has limited what players can do this year and it will be tough for coaches and team staff to make the hard decisions on who to keep for the 2020 NFL season and who to let go.
