5. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix (FS)

Not long ago, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix was a big deal. The Minnesota Vikings played against him twice per season for nearly five years when he patrolled the Packers secondary.

Since he departed Green Bay, he has made stops in Washington and Chicago. Now, he is on the move once again.

Clinton-Dix was the 21st pick overall in the 2014 NFL draft. He lived a star-studded career at the University of Alabama and was slated to carry over that stardom into the NFL. The 27-year-old has been a good free safety for six years, but he has never quite lived up to his first-round billing.

Filling in the secondary cracks with Harrison Smith or Anthony Harris at his side could catapult him back into relevance. Clinton-Dix was a Pro Bowler in 2016 with the Packers and has ample playoff experience. He even had a dignified showing last season with the Bears in holding quarterbacks to a 67.0 passer-rating-against. He also recorded 78 tackles, two interceptions, and a touchdown.

This one would generate excitement.
