1. Dan Chisena, wide receiver

Looking back, maybe it should have been more obvious that Dan Chisena would make the team’s roster. The way the Minnesota Vikings kept trying to find a spot for him at receiver or safety should have been a clue about how much they like him.

A player with blistering speed, Chisena could be a gunner for special teams and play other roles on kickoff returns and punts while honing his craft as a wide receiver. However, fans shouldn’t expect him to contribute on offense during the 2020 NFL season.

At only 23 years old and standing 6’3, Chisena has the physical tools to be worth developing as a pass-catcher. Still, it’s a bit surprising that the Vikings kept seven wide receivers on their 53 man roster despite needing help at other positions.
