Predicting the Minnesota Vikings record during the 2020 season
By Adam Patrick
How will the Minnesota Vikings perform during the upcoming 2020 season?
If there was ever a year in which the Minnesota Vikings would finally finish a season atop the NFL, it would be the one that will take place in this crazy year known as 2020, right?
Why not? This year has been incredibly unpredictable in more ways than one and the Vikings winning the Super Bowl would likely be the least surprising thing to occur in 2020.
Before Minnesota and their fans begin to dream about the Super Bowl though, the team has to obviously take care of business on the field first.
The outcome of the Vikings’ upcoming season is extremely hard to predict and it’s mostly thanks to the impact from the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Minnesota and the rest of the NFL weren’t able to have their normal minicamps or OTAs this offseason and it’s likely going to reduce the initial impact of any rookies or new roster additions. More than ever, the best teams in the league are likely going to be the ones who have a roster and coaching staff that is similar to the one they had in 2019.
The Vikings are one of these teams that has the majority of their top players and coaching staff from last year returning for the upcoming season. Will it result in one of Minnesota’s best performances in team history?
Before the predictions are revealed for the 2020 Vikings, let’s go over who will be suiting up for the purple and gold this year and remind everyone which longtime contributors departed from the franchise this offseason.
