What were the best and worst moments from the Minnesota Vikings loss in Week 1?

After much concern that the 2020 NFL season wouldn’t happen, football actually arrived in Week 1. The Minnesota Vikings kicked off their schedule against the Green Bay Packers in front of an empty U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday.

There is always a little extra on the line when the Vikings take on the Packers. Not only is it a battle of two teams who should contend for the NFC North crown this year, but the states representing the squads share a geographical border.

Unfortunately, Minnesota fell to Green Bay by a final score of 34-43 in a game that was never quite a close as that score makes it look. The Packers dominated the time of possession, they took advantage of opportunities on offense, and their defense kept the Vikings from being competitive.

Let’s take a look at the best things Minnesota did in Week 1 as well as the things that weren’t so great starting with the positives and then moving on to the negatives.
