Kirk Cousins Statistics and Facts

4. In the last decade, Kirk Cousins has performed statistically well against Green Bay, if you can believe that.

This is a challenging one to digest because the Vikings were lusterless versus Green Bay in 2019, but it’s true. Since 2010, of all quarterbacks that attempted at least 75 passes versus the Packers, Kirk Cousins 103.4 passer rating against Green Bay is the second-best in the NFL. Only Drew Brees has a higher passer rating versus the Packers.

5. Kirk Cousins has never thrown more than two touchdowns in a Week 1 game.

Truth be told, Kirk Cousins is an average Week 1 signal-caller compared to the rest of his performance. He’s never played a road game in Week 1, so there is really no rhyme or reason for this. His best Week 1 showing was in 2018 when the Vikings topped the 49ers in Minneapolis. Cousins threw for 244 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions.

6. Since becoming a full-time starter in 2015, Cousins only has one game in which he threw more than two interceptions.

Pretty wild, huh? The game took place in December of 2017 and was the final game of Cousins’ Washington career. The Football Team lost to the New York Giants, and Cousins joined the Vikings some three months later.
