Aaron Rodgers Statistics and Facts

7. Rodgers throws an incredibly small amount of interceptions.

Even if Rodgers is not the same elite-caliber passer than he was in, say, 2014 — he remains remarkably careful with the football. The Packers quarterback has thrown just 27 interceptions in the last five years or an average of a smidgen over five per season. For the most part, he’s a volume passer, so this is awfully commendable.

For perspective, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Philip Rivers has tossed 76 interceptions in the same time frame. This is 48 more than Rodgers.

8. He has thrown just two pick-sixes in his entire career.

Former Vikings and Packers alumnus, Brett Favre, donated 32 pick-sixes to the opposition in his career. This 32 to two variance is jaw-dropping. The two men are often compared for obvious reasons, but Rodgers is more careful with the football. It’s not even close.

9. Rodgers is declining performance-wise a bit whether it’s acknowledged or not.

From 2008-2017, Rodgers was the owner of a 104.2 cumulative passer rating. This was the very best in the business.

From 2018-2019, it has dipped (but is still good) to 96.5. This makes him the league’s 14th-best quarterback via passer rating in the last two seasons.

The numbers are vividly on the wall, but national punditry largely turns a blind eye.
