Which Minnesota Vikings players were the offensive or defensive MVP in Week 1?

Week 1 of the 2020 NFL season is in the books for the Minnesota Vikings. It was an odd game, played in front of an empty U.S. Bank Stadium with synthetic crowd noise used in place of the loud SKOL chants and rowdy fans.

The team’s opponent in the season opener was the Green Bay Packers, an NFC rival who made a deep playoff run last year. This game looked to be competitive early on, but fell apart as the contest went on.

Green Bay came to play, with Aaron Rodgers and the Packers putting on an offensive show and defeating the Vikings by a final score of 43-34 and putting Minnesota at 0-1 to kick off the 2020 NFL season.

Before looking ahead to Week 2, let’s evaluate some of the players who performed well offensively and defensively for the Vikings in their Week 1 game agains Green Bay and who deserves to be called an MVP.
