The Minnesota Vikings are free fallin’ in the Week 2 power rankings.

Last week, NFL experts were all over the place in how they viewed the Minnesota Vikings heading into Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers. Sadly, the purple and gold were unable to get a victory in their season opener and they have started the season with an 0-1 record.

It wasn’t so much the loss to a division rival that hurt, it was how the loss happened for the Vikings. Minnesota’s defense was picked apart by the Packers while the Vikings couldn’t move the ball on offense when the game was still within reach.

Thankfully, there were several teams who suffered upsets in Week 1 and they will likely see their position change drastically in the latest power rankings. Still, a loss like Minnesota had to Green Bay should be a key indicator that the Vikings would not be as well-received as they were a week ago at this time.

Let’s take a look at how Minnesota stands in the power rankings from some of the top NFL experts heading into Week 2 when they have to hit the road to take on the Indianapolis Colts in what should be another tough matchup.
