Are the experts right about the Vikings this week?
Experts aren’t high on the Vikings anymore. With them dipping into the bottom quarter of the league in their power rankings, it’s clear that any expectations for the team to make some noise and be a playoff team have gone out the window.
Based on their performances in the first two weeks against the Packers and Colts, this is a well-deserved criticism for a squad that has the talent to be among the better teams in the league.
Minnesota’s back-to-back disappointments have left fans wondering if this team has the potential to rebound any time soon.
Being the 23rd best team in the NFL isn’t anything a team wants to hang their hat on. Plus, being tied for the worst record in the NFC North at 0-2 makes things even worse. Sadly, all of this is warranted based on the performances to this point.
In fact, it’s a bit polite of the experts not to have Minnesota even closer to the bottom of the barrel in this week’s power rankings. Things could have been much worse, and they will be if the Vikings can’t put something together against the Titans this week.
