What will happen as the Minnesota Vikings try to avoid an 0-3 start on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans?

The season is on the brink for the Minnesota Vikings. After two disastrous performances against the Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts, the Vikings need a victory against the Tennessee Titans this week to avoid their first 0-3 start since 2013.

This is not how Minnesota fans envisioned this season coming along. Despite departures and injuries that have made holes at every position, the Vikings were expected to compete for an NFC North title. Their performance in the first two weeks hasn’t shown that and now many are doing their best to make #TankForTrevor a trend in Minneapolis.

The Titans roll into Sunday with a much different feeling. Tennessee pulled out a pair of wins to open the season, but they can’t feel comfortable in the way they pulled them off. With star receiver A.J. Brown sidelined because of a bone bruise, the Vikings’ young secondary may catch a break. Minnesota’s front seven won’t be as lucky, however, since they have to deal with 2019 NFL rushing champion Derrick Henry.

Whether you think the Vikings will turn it around or they should start tanking, Sunday’s game will be an important step in which direction this season will go. A win for Minnesota could build momentum heading into a Week 4 matchup with the Houston Texans. A loss will breed more questions in addition to the ones that have been asked in the first two weeks.

Here, we’ll make our predictions about what could happen on Sunday and if the Vikings can pick up their first win of the year.
