Ronald Leary – OG

Some might look at the current free-agent offensive linemen available and assume that Josh Kline would be the guy for Minnesota to go after. Kline performed decent for the Vikings as their starting right guard in 2019, but they obviously showed him the door this year for a reason.

So instead of Kline, Minnesota should look into adding free-agent offensive guard Ronald Leary to their roster in the near future.

Leary has lined up as both a left guard and a right guard during his NFL career and he’s performed well at both spots. Most recently, he suited up for the Denver Broncos last season and ended up starting 12 games for them.

Leary has starting experience and he can keep his guy in front of him for more than half a second, which isn’t a claim that any of the Vikings current offensive guards can make right now. Inserting Leary as either their starting left guard or starting right guard could fix one of Minnesota’s biggest problems so far this season.
