Defensive MVP

Eric Kendricks – LB

Three weeks into the season and Eric Kendricks has been a part of all three of these MVP pieces. There is a reason for that since he is everywhere on the field. He can tackle, cover, and rush the passer, and do them all at a high level.

When facing off against a powerful running team like the Titans, teams need a strong tackling strategy and tons of individual effort from everyone to bring down someone like running back Derrick Henry.

Kendricks once again led the team in tackles, notching 10 total takedowns with six of those being solo efforts. Through three games, he has nine more tackles than the closest player to him, which is Anthony Harris.

The linebacker was asked to drop back in coverage during the game as well and he registered another pass breakup. He can truly do it all and he should be in the conversation to return as an All-Pro First-Teamer this year.
