Defensive MVP

Eric Kendricks – LB

Are you all tired of Eric Kendricks being in these MVP articles yet? Well, hopefully not because as long as he is on the field, odds are that he will be among the top performers based on the fact that he is an elite linebacker.

Kendricks added to his season tackle total by bringing down 12 Houston ball carriers, seven of those being unassisted. Once again, the linebacker made a big play when dropping back in coverage, continuing to prove his coverage is a strength to his game.

Even without his partner in crime Anthony Barr, Kendricks and Wilson have done a great job creating a barrier for opposing ball carriers, allowing Minnesota to have an extra defensive back on the field to play situational football.

Despite having other superstars on defense, Eric Kendricks is quickly making a case to be considered the cornerstone of the team defensively. There is nothing he can do…and he does it all well.
