Get pressure on Russell Wilson

Russell Wilson can hurt you in so many ways, it’s not even fair. The quarterback has tremendous composure in the pocket, an elite arm, and his ability to recognize danger quickly is something else that shouldn’t be overlooked.

All these components make Wilson incredibly difficult to stop. This is further reflected in the dominant fashion both the player and the Seahawks have started the season.

The former Wisconsin standout has completed 75.2 percent of his passes on his way to 1,285 passing yards, 12 touchdowns, and just two interceptions through four weeks. According to ESPN, the signal-caller is on course for 5,140 yards, 64 touchdowns, and eight picks, which would be simply staggering and almost guarantee him the MVP award.

Getting pressure in Wilson is going to be critical, but the Minnesota Vikings must do this in a smart way due to the player’s incredible skill to make things happen on the move.

The former third-round pick has made a name for himself by conjuring up plays that you never thought possible. This represents a significant problem that the Vikings need to solve and it is something that very few teams have found a solution for over the years.

Minnesota’s pass-rushing has gotten better over the last two weeks after some early struggles where Pro Bowler Danielle Hunter was sorely missed. But this challenge is another level entirely.
