Are the experts right about the Vikings this week?

Personally, I wasn’t very high on the chances for the Vikings as they played the Seahawks on the road. Minnesota hasn’t had much luck in similar situations in the past and there weren’t a lot of reasons to believe this road trip would be any different for them.

But seeing the Vikings essentially dominate Seattle in the first half was mind-blowing. To know this team is capable of playing so well is both eye-opening and confusing since they have struggled so much earlier in the season.

Minnesota does have plenty of issues though. Their young group of defensive backs still need time to develop while the offensive guard play has been abysmal. However, there is still something about this team that prevents placement among the absolute worst teams in the leauge. They are FAR from the New York Jets level of garbage.

Putting the Vikings around 21 seems fair, which is quite close to the average of 20.5 from this week’s experts. So, on this rare occasion, the experts seem to be pretty close to understanding how Minnesota really are as a team.
