There was a lot to talk about from the Minnesota Vikings game against the Falcons in Week 6.

When a team as talented as the Minnesota Vikings has the opportunity to face a winless team on their home field, that’s usually a pretty good recipe for success. On Sunday, this team proved that disaster can happen in the most optimistic of situations.

To say the purple and gold struggled would be an understatement. Not only could the offense not put any points on the board in the first half but they allowed the Atlanta Falcons to get out to a 20-0 lead at halftime.

Things looked a little better in the second half with Minnesota putting some points on the board, but, in the end, the game was an embarrassment. The Vikings were finally put out of their misery with a final score of 23-40.

What were the best and worst things from the Week 6 game between the Minnesota Vikings and Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, Oct. 18? Let’s take a look starting with whatever positive things could be taken away from this contest.
