The Worst

One of the biggest challenges for the Minnesota Vikings this week was attempting to contain the wide receiver duo of Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley. Sadly, the purple and gold didn’t do a great job keeping these two threats in check.

Despite leaving the game at halftime, Ridley posted six catches for 61 yards and a score. Had he been in the game for the entire duration, his stat line would have likely been much more impressive on the day.

Meanwhile, Julio Jones did what Julio does: dominate the field. The star pass-catcher reminded everyone how much of a game-changer he can be by hauling in eight catches for 137 yards and two scores.

Having a young secondary is okay, but they will take some lumps, especially against two of the league’s best receivers. And giving up a combined 198 yards and two scores to these amazing pass-catchers is hard to overcome.
