Offensive MVP

Justin Jefferson – WR

It’s hard to try to judge a rookie from a few really good games. Until there is a body of work to look at, a player can be labeled to have potential or have some flashes of brilliance. But to call them great or even good is something that needs time.

Honestly, it’s getting to the point where it would be hard to see Justin Jefferson not develop into a great pass catcher. This week, he exploded once again and led the Vikings in targets, receptions, and receiving yards.

Against Atlanta, Jefferson caught nine of 11 targets, including some tough grabs while contested. Those catches went for 166 yards and two touchdowns, adding even more fuel for those who are already all-in on the rookie receiver.

Route-running, speed, acceleration, balance, and hands, this kid seems to have it all. He will get plenty more opportunities to showcase his skills as his career continues. He could be something really special.
