Offensive Unsung Hero from Week 6:

Justin Jefferson – WR

Normally, Justin Jefferson would not fit this narrative because he is already a budding superstar. However, thanks to a complete lack of effort from anyone else on the offensive side of the ball, Jefferson gets extra love this week.

Jefferson led the way with nine catches for 166 yards and two touchdowns as the Vikings searched for life on offense.

Regardless of the score this season, Jefferson has consistently stepped up and done his job to help this team to the best of his abilities.

Through six games this season, Jefferson is one of the best wide receivers in the league. For a rookie, that’s pretty impressive no matter how you look at it.

I would argue he is already a star in this league who can threaten any defense he sees, which has to make fans happy.

With the season being a disaster up to this point, we can still focus our energy on Jefferson and watch him grow into an elite playmaker for the next decade.
