Rodgers leads all NFL quarterbacks in QBR
If QBR is your statistical drug of choice, Aaron Rodgers is your man. Rodgers leads the NFL in the metric with a gaudy 85.6 rating. QBR scores always tumble downward during the course of a long NFL season, but it’s so-far-so-good for Rodgers and the Packers. If his score remained as-is, the 85.6 would top Lamar Jackson’s score of 2019, one that helped Jackson earn MVP honors.
The only problematic game that Rodgers has endured in 2020 was Week 6 at Tampa Bay. The Packers started off the contest with some zest, but after a Rodgers’ pick-six, the roof collapsed on the green and gold. The Buccaneers brutalized the then-undefeated Packers by a score of 38-10. After the rout, Rodgers was left pondering a game that was the third-worst of his 16-year career from a passer-rating standpoint.
Fortunately for Rodgers, the Vikings defense is depleted. Chances of Buccaneers-like stifling by the Vikings against Rodgers in Week 8 are slim.
