Jefferson has the most receiving yards by a 21-year-old through six games to start a career
Justin Jefferson is the guy that will keep you glued to the screen through thick and thin should you become too downtrodden during this underwhelming season.
Through six games as a 21-year-old to start his career, Jefferson has registered 537 receiving yards. It is the most in six games at this age to begin a career. Randy Moss, unsurprisingly, is in second place. He tabulated 527 yards in his first six games. Amari Cooper, Stefon Diggs, CeeDee Lamb, Jerry Butler, DeSean Jackson, and Keenan Allen round out the list.
These names are a bit of foreshadowing. Jefferson’s production in 2020 places him in a conversation with men that proves he is not on a whimsical hot streak. He is here to stay.
The only thing that could stymie Jefferson’s young career is an injury — or the drafting a quarterback that turned out be a total bust. The Vikings have seen that movie before.
